leather vest edition.001

Introducing the newest Fall MUST HAVE this season!! I am absolutely mad about leather!! I cannot get enough, and have been on a massive man hunt to find that perfect leather vest. I searched high and low, and came up with my favorite motorcycle duds for this fall. Leather vests are a great way to complete an outfit and seal the deal. If you ever feel like something is missing, just throw the vest on and load up on arm and neck candy and your good to go ;) enjoy my favs by Phillip Lim, Alexander McQueen, the forever stylist and trendsetters, the olsen girls at The Row, Lanvin and the list goes on. xoxo, DTR

While shopping this weekend, I became relatively disappointed with the boot selection for fall. There are some key items that I want to invest, but I must admit, walking through Bergdorf Goodman left me feeling underwhelmed (which for me, is a rarity!).

For those looking for the perfect fall boot, I wanted to create a basic guide to distinguish between what pieces are perfect, must-have investments and what ordinary pieces aren’t worth the splurge for fall.

Last night, the A-list took the streets of New York for The Great Gatsby premier at Lincoln Center. It is much more than Leonardo DiCaprio and Carey Mulligan’s irresistibly captivating romance that draws me to this film, opening Friday May 3. Jay-Z executively produced the soundtrack featuring major artists including The Xx, Lana Del Rey, Florence + The Machine, Jay-Z, Beyonce, and Kayne West, to name a few. Plus, the amazingly talented Miuccia Prada designed the costumes for the film. Here are a few red carpet looks that stood out:

gatsbypremierBest dressed definitely goes to the leading lady, Carey Mulligan, who stayed true to her 1920′s elegantly sophisticated and chic character. She balanced flawless Tiffany and Co. diamonds with a strapless, well-tailored, red Lanvin dress; looking fresh faced and youthful. Who was your best dressed of the evening?
