Dana Tycher Reisman is a celebrity fashion stylist and owner of DTR Styles, a personal shopping and styling service founded in 2013. Born and raised in New York City, Dana spent her childhood playing dress-up amongst the clothes racks at Bergdorf’s and Barneys, wishing to one day share her love of fashion with others.
Dana created DTR Styles to help women feel better about themselves by developing unique, personality driven styles that suit their lifestyles and budgets. Her philosophy when working with clients is “look good, dress well and ultimately feel amazing.” By providing personal shopping and styling services at an affordable price point, Dana proves that having a stylist and a fashionable wardrobe does not have to be an expensive endeavor.
Dana has always been interested in finding new ways to put together outfits, spending her high school years customizing her school uniforms to suit her personal style. Her love of fashion led Dana to pursue a Bachelors of Business Administration at Parsons School of Design, where she learned the ins-and-outs of the fashion industry, while creating lifelong connections. Throughout her studies, Dana developed her personal shopping and styling skills by working at high-end boutiques, such as Intermix and Herve Leger. During her final year at Parsons, Dana created and launched the jewelry line Rocco and Duchovny. However, Dana realized styling was her true calling and dissolved her involvement in the line in order to follow her dream.
Although having styled friends and close connections over the years, Dana’s career as a personal shopper and stylist officially began in 2011 at The Americana Manhasset, one of the most prestigious shopping destinations on the East Coast, where Dana catered to women looking for high-end styling advice. One of only two personal shoppers, Dana was able to gain extensive hands-on experience and training, honing the skills that she had begun to develop while at Parsons. She learned to create a tailored, VIP experience for clients by assessing their personal styles and preferences. Dana also developed the ability to style editorial campaigns, revamp women’s wardrobes and decipher between fads and updated classics. Dana left The Americana Manhasset in early 2013 to launch her own personal shopping and styling business, DTR Styles.
DTR Styles provides the following services for women: Wardrobe Revamp, Event Styling, Investment Piece Purchase, Editorial Styling, Style Advice and Total Makeover (including hair and make-up). Dana has served a wide range of clients all over the country from New York City to Los Angeles and Miami.
Dana lives in New York City with her husband Seth and dog Rocco.
